molecularNote  Crossing Npy1rtm1Wpg mice with mice expressing Cre in the germ line excised the entire floxed region containing the coding sequence. Southern blot confirmed recombination. A radioligand binding assay indicated that mutant mice had negligible binding to the Npy1r specific antagonist.
