Allele : Il10ra<NZW> interleukin 10 receptor, alpha; NZW variant

Primary Identifier  MGI:3528086 Allele Type  Spontaneous
Gene  Il10ra Strain of Origin  NZW
Is Recombinase  false Is Wild Type  false
description

The mutation was originally found in NZW and MRL/n strain by sequence analyses. Conformation polymorphism analysis also showed that only NZW and MRL shared a different polymorphism compared with 129/sv, AKR, BXSB, C3H, C57BL/6, C57BL/10, DBA, NOD, NZB, SJL, SWR strains, and (NZB x NZW)F1 mice shared both NZB and NZW-alleles.

The NZW Il10ra allele was significantly associated with high serum level of anti-chromatin IgG in (NZB x NZW)F1 x NZB backcross mice. Quantitative trait locus (QTL) analyses also showed tight linkage between the NZW IL-10RA Locus and high serum level of IgG anti-chromatin.
