Myh6 drives the expression of the dominant-negative Pik3ca in cardiac myocytes. Immunoprecipitation and western blotting confirmed transgene expression exclusively in the heart and a lipid kinase indicated that phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase activity was decreased by 77%. |
