A blastocyte was grown and transferred into pseudopregnant mouse. One of the Tcrb alleles in the transferred nuclei had a productive, in-frame recombination of the Vbeta8S2-Dbeta1-Jbeta2S5 gene segments and it was this allele that was propagated. Sequence analysis determined this productive recombination occurred on the genetic locus contributed by the C57BL/6 parent. |
