Allele : Hprt1<tm2(tetO-lacZ,-NR3C1)Frje> hypoxanthine phosphoribosyltransferase 1; targeted mutation 2, Frederic Jaisser

Primary Identifier  MGI:4437607 Allele Type  Targeted
Attribute String  Humanized sequence, Inducible, Inserted expressed sequence, Reporter Gene  Hprt1
Transmission  Germline Strain of Origin  129 and C57BL/6
Induced With  doxycycline/tetracycline Is Recombinase  false
Is Wild Type  false
description  ES cell line = BPES11 (carries Hprtb-m3). This cell line was established from Hprt mutant mice on a highly mixed C57BL/6 and 129 background that had been derived from ES cell line BK4 (129P2/OlaHsd).
molecularNote  A transgene containing a bidirectional tetracycline promoter (tetO) driving expression of human lacZ (5' of tetO) and GR1 (3' of tetO) was inserted into the locus by homologous recombination. Selection was achieved by restoring the locus that is defective in the ES cells used to generate this allele. Following activation of tetO, both GR1 and lacZ expression is detected.
