| molecularNote | A 14.4 kb targeting vector containing the cre recombinase sequence and an Frt-flanked puromycin selectable marker was used to insert cre after the initiation codon of Cebpa, replacing the single Cebpa exon. Correctly targeted 129/Sv/C57BL/6 ES cells were injected into B6 blastocysts to generate chimeras. The chimeras were crossed to FLPeR mice to remove the puromycin cassette. |
