molecularNote  The Tmub1 gene consists of 3 exons. Coding exons 1 and 2 were targeted (NCBI accession NM_022418.1) by homologous recombination and replaced with a LacZ/neomycin selection cassette. Disruption of the target gene was confirmed by Southern hybridization analysis and multiplex PCR.
