molecularNote  This transgene expresses the human amyloidogenic immunoglobulin lambda 6 light chain and the bovine growth hormone polyadenylation sequence under the control of the cytomegalovirus (CMV) promoter. The lambda 6 light chain cDNA was generated by reverse transcription from RNA prepared from bone marrow collected from patient AL080 (GenBank sequence no. EF589388) who had rapidly progressive multiorgan amyloid light chain amyloidosis.
