| molecularNote | A Sleeping Beauty cargo transgene was targeted downtream of exon 2 by homologous recombination. It contained a loxP site, lacZ gene, lox2272 site, insulator from HSS4 site of chicken beta-globin locus, loxP site, FRT-flanked neomycin (neo) resistance cassette and lox2272 site. Flp-mediated recombination removed the neo cassette. Cre-mediated recombination removed the lacZ and insulator and left a loxP site downstream of exon 2. |
