| molecularNote | The coding region of cre recombinase was cloned into a plasmid containing an IRES-EGFP sequence. The cre-IRES-EGFP cassette was fused to the medaka rx3 gene promoter to produce a transgenic construct for pronuclear injection. Nine founder animals were obtained and crossed to Rosa26 reporter mice for analysis. The line showing the least mosaic activity, MB31, was used for further characterization. |
