The J1-4 regions were replaced with a J558 H10 family promoter, the H10 split leader sequence, a rearranged human heavy chain sequence of the HIV-1 antibody 48d (an anti-CD4 inducible, nonpolyreactive Ab) and a floxed neo mycin resistance (neo) cassette. Cre-mediated recombination removed the neo cassette.
