The transgene expresses a full-length mouse Ubqln1 cDNA under the control of the CMV enhancer/chicken beta-actin promoter. Immunoblot analysis indicates striking overexpression in the brain, heart, liver and skeletal muscle with lower levels of overexpression seen in other tissues.
