abstractText | Abstract New mutations have been produced by the Munich ENU mutagenesis project. These alleles were originally obtained as candidate genes by exome sequencing of mutant mouse lines, but showed not responsible for the observed mutant phenotypes. Each allele was backcrossed on wild-type C3Heb/FeJ mice and genotyped to exclude any further mutations. Further, every mutation was inter-crossed for at least two generations in the heterozygous state, but for some genes, no live homozygous pups were obtained obviously due to embryonal or perinatal lethality. All mice showed no obvious phenotype but have not been phenotyped in detail, all alleles are on the pure C3HeB/FeJ background. |
