abstractText  The platelet-derived growth factor (PDGF) and its receptor, PDGFRalpha, are critical for tissue development and injury repair. To track PDGFRalpha-expressing cells in vivo, we generated a knock-in mouse line that expresses green fluorescent protein (GFP) under the control of the PDGFRalpha promoter. This genetic tool enabled us to detect PDGFRalpha expression in various organs during both neonatal and adult stages. Additionally, we confirmed the correlation between endogenous PDGFRalpha and transgenic PDGFRalpha expression using mouse injury models, showing the potential of this genetic reporter for studying PDGFRalpha-mediated signaling pathways and developing therapeutic strategies. Overall, the PDGFRalpha-GFP knock-in mouse line serves as a valuable tool for investigating the biology of PDGFRalpha and its role in normal development and disease.
