The mutation is a single glycine to proline substitution at position 352 near its C terminus (G352P). Three lines of mice (nos. 81, 82, and 89) were generated. Line 82 was chosen for further analysis because the pattern of alpha-gustducin expression matched or exceeded that of WT. |
