| molecularNote | A BAC containing the genomic sequence of the gene was targeted with a reporter cassette (monomeric red fluorescent protein gene and bovine growth hormone gene poly(A) signal sequences) and an FRT site flanked beta lactamase selection cassette. The reporter cassette replaced the coding sequence of the targeted gene.
