molecularNote  A bacterial artificial chromosome (BAC) containing the Stard5 gene (RP23-237A7) is modified so that it expressed EGFP/Rpl10a under the regulation of the Stard5 promoter. Expression of the endogenous Stard5 gene is not perturbed. BAC RP23-237A7 also contains Tmc3 and Il16. RNASeq data for Stard5-TRAP (JX5852) indicates that neither gene appears to be over-expressed by the transgenic construct.
