| molecularNote | Using EUCOMM targeting vector HTGR04002_Z_5_C06, the locus was targeted for conditional knockout. The vector inserts an FRT site flanked lacZ/neomycin resistance fusion gene cassette and a loxP site into intron 2 (chr13: 64223896 on build GRCm39) and a second loxP site into intron 3 (chr13: 64224681). The lacZ/neo cassette was removed through subsequent flp-mediated recombination and exon 3 was deleted via cre-mediated recombination in the germline, generating a null allele. |
