molecularNote  Using CRISPR/Cas9-mediated genome editing, 53 bp in the exon 2 of the Ccl28 gene was deleted causing a reading frame shift and the early translational termination. Quantitative real-time PCR (qRT-PCR) analysis of CCL28 mRNA derived from lung, colon, and salivary glands confirms the absence of mRNA in the homozygous mice.
