molecularNote  Recombination-mediated cassette exchange (RMCE) inserted a cre-conditional FLEX (flip-excision) cassette with inserted a CAG promoter in front of the FLEX-cassette containing the coding sequence of hM4Di-mKateT was inserted into the FLEX cassette in reverse orientation to the promoter and a rabbit globulin polyA cassette including stop codons in every reading frame downstream of the FLEX cassette, in the same direction as hM4Di. The hM4D ORF is followed by a 6x His Tag and a V5 tag; however, these could not be detected by immunohistochemistry on PFA fixed tissue.
