molecularNote  Serine codons 413 (TCC) and 424 (TCC) in exon 8 were changed to glutamic acid (GAA) (p.S413E, p.S424E) and an FRT site flanked neomycin resistance gene cassette was inserted into intron 7. The neo cassette was removed through subsequent Flp-mediated recombination. The mutations change phosphorylatable residues in the encoded peptide into phosphomimetics.
