Allele : Cab39l<tm1c(EUCOMM)Wtsi> calcium binding protein 39-like; targeted mutation 1c, Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute

Primary Identifier  MGI:7665326 Allele Type  Targeted
Attribute String  Conditional ready Gene  Cab39l
Transmission  Germline Strain of Origin  C57BL/6N-A<tm1Brd>
Is Recombinase  false Is Wild Type  false
molecularNote  The L1L2_Bact_P cassette was inserted at position 59743287 of Chromosome 14 upstream of the critical exon 6 (Build GRCm39). The cassette is composed of an FRT site followed by lacZ sequence and a loxP site. This first loxP site is followed by a neomycin resistance gene under the control of the human beta-actin promoter, SV40 polyA, a second FRT site and a second loxP site. A third loxP site is inserted downstream of the targeted exon 6 at position 59744101. The critical exon 6 is thus flanked by loxP sites. Flp-medated recombination removed the lacZ and neomycin resistance gene, generating a “conditional ready” exon 6 floxed allele. Further information on targeting strategies used for this and other IKMC alleles can be found at http://www.informatics.jax.org/mgihome/nomen/IKMC_schematics.shtml
