| abstractText | The OMIM Human Disease terms and IDs are used at MGI to describe mouse phenotypes as models of human disease. Referenced links from mouse genotypes to OMIM records are established by the MGI curatorial staff. Associations between MGI and OMIM records are made following literature review. Where MGI/OMIM relationships are established, OMIM identifiers are propagated to corresponding MGI records. The OMIM data are owned and copyrighted by Johns Hopkins University and both OMIM and Online Mendelian Inheritance in Man are trademarked phrases.
