| abstractText | We have used the cDNA probes for human aldehyde dehydrogenase-1 (ALDH1) and aldehyde dehydrogenase-2 (ALDH2) to determine regional chromosomal locations of these two genes by in situ hybridization. Results presented here allow localization of ALDH1 to band q21 on chromosome 9 and ALDH2 to band q24 on chromosome 12. |
