abstractText  Clones coding for the 5-HT2 serotonin receptor were isolated from rat brain cDNA libraries. Using one of the cDNA clones as the probe, mouse genomic DNAs from intersubspecific backcrosses were analyzed by Southern blot hybridization for a restriction fragment length polymorphism. The 5-HT2 serotonin receptor gene, Htr-2, was mapped to mouse Chromosome 14 and is closely linked with the marker Es-10.
