| abstractText | Full text of MNL contribution: Using an interspecific mouse crosses involving Mus spretus, data has been accumulated allowing a detailed genetic map of the mouse X chromosome to be constructed. This has in turn allowed data on the relationship between the physical and genetic maps of the mouse X chromosome to be obtained and permitted the regions of homologies between the human and mouse X chromosomes, to be established in some detail. An update on the current position of our X chromosome map will be presented together with a description of recent efforts to increase the number of positioned genetic loci in the central and distal regions of the X chromosome. |
