| abstractText | Full text of MNL contribution: Research Notes: Neonatal intestinal lipidosis. Nil homozygotes are lethal on all genetic backgrounds tested. The heterozygotes vary in penetrance, according to background (about 20% at one extreme, 70% at the other). The location of Nil between c and p in linkage group I (indicated in MNL 33: 19) is now confirmed. On 150 Nil+ progeny from each sex of heterozygote, (the latter backcrossed to recessives at the c and p loci), the estimated recombination values are: Heterozygotes: Female: c -- 10 - Nil -- 2 - p percent; Heterozygotes: Male: c -- 5 - Nil -- 3 - p percent.
