| abstractText | Full text of MNL contribution: Statement on peptidases: To facilitate the naming of mouse peptidase variants in line with the rules of mouse genetics nomenclature, it is proposed that the mouse peptidases corresponding in substrate specificity to human peptidases A-E inclusive be named as follows:- Human nomenclature: Peptidase A; Mouse nomenclature: Dipeptidase-2 (Dip-2); Human nomenclature: Peptidase B; Mouse nomenclature: Tripeptidase (Trip); Human nomenclature: Peptidase C; Mouse nomenclature: Dipeptidase-1 (Dip-1); Human nomenclature: Peptidase D; Mouse nomenclature: Prolidase (Prol); Human nomenclature: Peptidase E; Mouse nomenclature: Naphthylamidase (Nap); Alleles would be designated with superscripts a, b, c, etc. (W.H.P.
