| abstractText | Full text of MNL contribution: Research News: Polysyndactyly Ps (MNL 32 and 34) is very closely linked to misty m, a backcross of Ps+++/+mPtb mice to brown misties having produced offspring of the following phenotypes so far: Ps+++: 91; +mPtb: 88; Ps++b: 7; +mPt+: 3; Ps+Ptb: 2; +m++: 1; PsmPt+: 1; +m+b: 1. Thus the recombination frequency for Ps and m is 1/194 or 0.5%. The order of loci is probably Ps-m-Pt-b, though m may be on the other side of Ps. (Searle) |
