| abstractText | MGI routinely downloads information for mouse genomic BAC clones of libraries RPCI-23 and RPCI-24. Clone information is obtained from the Clone Registry at NCBI (http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/genome/clone/). Molecular source information for these libraries was obtained from the BAC PAC Resources at Children's Hospital Oakland Research Institute (CHORI) (http://bacpac.chori.org/home.htm). This load creates clone records in MGI for all clones from these libraries, attaching clone IDs and sequence IDs. The load regularly updates sequence ID associations for these clones as they become available. Note that the load makes no attempt to associate these BAC clones or sequences with MGI gene records.
