| abstractText | Full text of MNL contribution: 4. Mapping additional 7S RNA sequences. In MNL 70:84 and MNL 71:30 we reported linkage of 7S RNA-related restriction fragment variants on Chr 1, 5, 6, 9 and the X-chromosome. Further analysis has revealed additional variants linked to Hc on Chr 2, Amy-1 and Adh-3 on Chr 3, Mup-1 and b on Chr 4 (two variants), Bv on Chr 8, Igh on Chr 12, and As-1 on Chr 13. Several other variants have been identified, but have not yet been mapped. These results demonstrate that 7S RNA related sequences are widely dispersed in the mouse genome. (Taylor and L. Rowe) |
