| abstractText | The mouse genome assembly contains unlocalized contigs, which are associated with a specific chromosome, but can't be ordered/oriented on that chromosome, and unplaced contigs, which can't be associated with any chromosome. These mouse contigs can contain genes and other biologically relevant genome features. MGI associates mouse genome features present on contigs with their corresponding GenBank sequence accessions (from the CON division), and contig RefSeqs (prefix NT_).
