| abstractText | Full text of MNL contribution: Aldehyde dehydrogenase B4 (cytoplasmic isozyme). A biochemical variant for the cytoplasmic isozyme of aldehyde dehyrdogenase (designated AHD-B4) was previously reported in MNL 61:35. Using a chromosome 19 position testing stock (designated LR19), kindly supplied by the Genetics Section from Harwell, we have positioned Ahd-2 (encoding AHD/B4) on chromosome 19 (RF values given): Ahd-2 - 17+/-5 - bm - 4+/_2 - (ep - ru) <--------------> 21+/-5.
