| abstractText | Full text of MNL contribution: Strain Name Change: It was recently discovered that the RIII/2J strain was outcrossed to the SEC/1ReJ strain early in the pedigree (see MNL 57:20, July 1977). Because one eighth of the genes in the present RIII/2J strain are expected to be derived from the SEC/1ReJ strain it has been decided by the Mouse Mutant Stocks Resource Committee and the Animal Resources Committee of the Laboratory that RIII/2J is an inappropriate designation for this strain and that the name should be changed to RIIIS/J. Hereafter, the RIII/2J strain will be referred to as RIIIS/J. (Mobraaten) |
