PHENOTYPE: This locus controls expression of certain cytotoxic T-lymphocyte defined determinants of H2-Q1. Mice carrying the H2-Dk haplotype have the recessive k allele of Qdm. Other H2-D1 haplotypes carry the dominant modifier Qdm+. [provided by MGI curators]
