ES cells previously targeted with the Il4/Il13^tm3Anjm mutation were targeted with a second vector, incorporating a lacZ and hygro cassette into exon 3 of the interleukin 5 locus. Resulting ES cells had disruptions of the Il4, Il5 and Il13 genes.
