molecularNote  A loxP site was inserted upstream of exon 4. Exon 5 is replaced with a modified exon 5 coding for the amino acid substitution of asparagine for aspartic acid at position 310 (D310N). An FRT-flanked neomycin resistance cassette with a 5' loxP site was inserted downstream of the modified exon 5. Flp-mediated recombination removed the selection cassette.
