Allele : Gramd1c<tm1d(KOMP)Wtsi> GRAM domain containing 1C; targeted mutation 1d, Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute

Primary Identifier  MGI:7626307 Allele Type  Targeted
Attribute String  Null/knockout Gene  Gramd1c
Transmission  Germline Strain of Origin  C57BL/6N-A<tm1Brd>
Is Recombinase  false Is Wild Type  false
Project Collection  KOMP-CSD
molecularNote  The L1L2_Bact_P cassette was inserted at position 43812106 of Chromosome 16 upstream of the exon 11 (Build GRCm39). The cassette is composed of an FRT site followed by lacZ sequence and a loxP site. This first loxP site is followed by a neomycin resistance gene under the control of the human beta-actin promoter, SV40 polyA, a second FRT site and a second loxP site. A third loxP site is inserted downstream of the exon 11 at position 43812967. Exon 11 is thus flanked by loxP sites. A "conditional ready" (floxed) allele was created by flp recombinase expression in mice carrying this allele. Subsequent cre expression created a knockout mouse.
